Dural Premium Latex Construction Adhesive is a high strength, multi-purpose adhesive formulated for most heavy-duty construction, such as sub-floor assembly and installation of foam insulating boards. Bonds most types of panels to most porpous surfaces such as drywall, wood, concrete, etc.

Application Guidelines
  • Application
  • Do not apply below 0 C. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease. Apply adhesive in a continuous bead 1cm (3/8") wide along the joists, studs or the back of the panel to be installed. Within 10 minutes of adheisve application, firmly press the panel in place - use nails (sparingly) for support and alignment during installation. Allow 48 hours curing before applying any stress to the panel. NOTE: Not suitable for unprotected steel.
  • Coverage
  • 1 litre covers approximately 120 - 150 metres of 1cm wide continuous bead.
  • Clean Up
  • Excessive adhesive can be washed off with warm waters. For dried adhesive use, mineral spirits.
  • Shelf Life/Storage
  • 1 year maximum at room temperature. Keep from freezing. Freeze/thaw stability: one cycle at -10 C or higher.
  • Recommendations
  • This adhesive is not recommended for bonding together two non-porous substrates such as metal, glass, glazed ceramic, varnished wood, plastic etc...

    Do not move the panel laterally in order to not smear the bead of adhesive. Wait at least 48 hours before applying any stress to the panel.

    Complete curing of the adhesive requires 5 to 10 days. Low temperatures, poor ventilation and high humidity all increase the curing time.
